Welcome

Savannah cats are the newest and most progressive breed of big house cat accepted by The International Cat Association today. The goal of the Savannah breeder is to achieve the exotic look of the African Serval while also maintaining the personality of the domestic cat. We do this by crossing the serval with a series of spotted domestic cats. The first few generations are the Savannah foundation generations for the breed, so you will often see cats referred to as F1, F2, F3, etc. The F is for foundation and the number designates how many generations removed from the serval that particular cat is. You are welcome to explore this web site and look at the different Savannahs and read the information to see if you are interested in this stunning new breed of cat.

Elvis

Elvis is a darling. He has long since gone to his permanent home, but I keep his picture here because I think he is adorable. It's hard to believe they start out this small and grow into such a big domestic house cat with mild manners.

The Savannah Cat Book

Reputable Savannah breeders are listed and contacts provided to be able to join or query the Savannah International Member & Breeder Association. A 'must-have' for anyone desiring a Savannah as a pet or for breeding.
